MWIZUKANJI'S PSYCHOLOGICAL POWER
By Jeff Mbewe
If you ever thought a sexism card is enough to put a woman down, definitely, you have never met Mwizukanji. If you think a woman has to be judged by how many failed relationships she has been into, then definitely, you need to meet Mwizukanji.
Women are judged severely and negatively for things they may have done - things that men may do as well, yet, get no judgment for it whatsoever.
We live in a society where opinion about morality seems to be slunted negatively towards women. A man can be caught in bed with another woman and society will urge his legal wife to 'stay put for the sake of the children'.Conversely, a woman found doing exactly the same things will be classified as an unholy creature deserving divorce.
There is almost no chance for a woman to error and if she does, she is immoral to the eyes of society. With Mwizukanji, good luck with putting her down using a sexism card.
Not too long ago, she was a subject of ridicule having undergone a public breakup with famed Elton Mulenga alias Yo Maps. Plainly, circumstances surrounding the breakup where all against her.
'She trapped Yo Maps'
'Pregnancy after a few weeks of dating'
'She has children with three different men and she hid this information from You Maps'
'She is after Yo Maps's money'
After the whole ordeal which became a public discussion for over two weeks, to others, Mwizukanji was a hallmark of what an immoral woman looks like.
To Mwizukanji, this was a defining turn around point in life. If there are people that doubted the story of a rejected stone that became a most sort after, Mwizukanji is a reflection of that story.
These are kinds of people who will fight back with every vigour in them. You push them against the wall, and where she no choice, she will face you singlehandedly and sort you out like her life depends on it. It doesn't matter your gender.
In essence, Mwizukanji was all alone. Others thought she would walk what seems to be an easy path of taking her own life. To her, her public humiliation by her ex-lover and the people in whole was enough basis to be creative, make money and build an empire.
A brand 'HUSTLE' was birthday. A HUSTLE empire![ Subject for another day]
I recently accompanied a friend for a program where Mwizukanji was also in attendance.
'Can I take a photo with you?' was what I could often hear as the program ensued. The number of people that begged her for a selfie is as if she were some high ranking government official or celebrity that has around her a reputation of success and accomplishment. This is Mwizukanji, the very person the world judged as an immoral young lady!
I dare say, if there are researchers who care to find out about human composure and their psychological soundness when faced with a seemingly life threatening situation, Mwizukanji is a prototype. There is a lot to learn from this lady.
