  A MAN has narrated before the Kabushi Local Court how his wife made him become friends with her boyfriend. Samuel Chirwa, 34, a resident of Mushili Township, told the court that his wife, Gladys Kabando, 30, made him eat food with his rival because she did not want him to suspect that she had a relationship with the man Chirwa wanted the Kabushi Local Court to dissolve the marriage on grounds that his wife had extramarital affairs. He said his wife brought the man to their bar and cooked food which she made them eat together. He said after drinking beer, they would take him home while his wife and her boyfriend went somewhere to enjoy each other. “She made him become so close to me that I would not suspect that she had a sexual relationship with him. This woman has a lot of men and at some point she even dated my driver and admitted to have slept with him,” he said.

  Govt Ponders Suspension Of Admission Into Teacher Training Colleges Due To High Unemployment  Brightwell Chabushs  Government is considering suspending the admission of teachers into colleges to curb the high number of unemployed teachers on the streets. General Education Minister Dennis Wanchinga says there is no need of admitting teachers into training institutions when there are many of them unemployed, ZNBC reports.  Dr. Wanchinga, however, could not give the period that the Ministry intends to suspend the training of teachers in its eleven colleges across the country. He says so far, the country has 50,000 unemployed teachers. The Minister was speaking when he addressed unemployed teachers from all provinces across the country in Lusaka. He said the eleven public teacher training institutions will instead focus on in-house training so that teaching skills can be enhanced.  POLICE have instituted investigations to establish the circumstances in the shooting of two people this morning. A National Prosecution's Authority lawyer identified as Nsama Nsama and a suspected United Party for National Development (UPND) cadre were this morning shot dead in unclear circumstances. The two were shot in different locations at the time UPND leader was appearing for questioning at the police headquarters. Mr Nsama was gunned down at the entrance of restaurant where he went to have breakfast while the suspected UPND cadre is reportedly to have been shot near the premises of the High Court ground. In a media statement issued by Inspector General of police, Kakoma Kanganja, explained that in the process of dispersing the unruly crowd using tear smoke canisters, the two were reported to have been shot dead in unknown circumstances which we are yet to establish. Eastern Province Commissioner of Police Lackson Sakala confirmed to Zambia Daily Mail that Mervis Phiri of Nyanje chiefdom allegedly repeatedly whipped her daughter after smearing chili powder on her private parts. He said the victim was rushed to Nyanje Mission Hospital after she lost consciousness. Mr Sakala further said the victim sustained swollen private parts.

It's sad that citizen of our country has got that mentality of accessing the zesco transformers without knowledge or fear of being electrified by electricity.   BOY, 17 ALLEGEDLY RAPED BY WOMAN OF SALAMA PARK  By Darius Choonya A 17 Year old boy of Lusaka’s Kamanga compound has been left traumatized after allegedly being raped by a woman of Salama Park under her husband’s watch. The incident occurred on Wednesday when the woman’s husband forced the boy who worked for them as a garden boy to sleep with his wife while he filmed act. It has also been alleged that after the act, the couple collected the three condoms containing the boy’s semen. The victim has also told Diamond News that he was threatened with death if he refused to have sex with the woman. Efforts to get a comment from the couple proved futile by broadcast time as all their phones were switched off. The family of the victim has expressed shock over what transpired.

REFUSING to accept a breakup, a man of Chitambo has murdered his girlfriend who was a student nurse before taking his own life. Kaluwayo Mwika could not take it that his girlfriend told him she no longer loved him and so wanted to end the relationship. According to Central province commissioner of police, Chola Katanga identified the deceased as Mapalo Masiku, 21, a second year student at Chitambo College of Nursing and of House Number 351, Mikomfwa Township in Luanshya, Copperbelt Province. Mr Katanga said the incident happened yesterday within the nearby bush of Chitambo College of Nursing. And Mr Katanga said Kaluwayo has been found dead. He said Kaluwayo allegedly hanged himself at Chito Area, about 18km from the scene of crime, Chitambo College of Nursing. And police spokesperson, Esther Katongo said initial investigations indicated that the victim had a misunderstanding with her boyfriend identified Kaluwayo who had just completed school at the same College. FACEBOOK obsession by a married woman has attracted one dislike from her husband after being together for 10 years.  Matandwa Silavya, 25, was sued for divorce by her husband, Simon Sakula, 33, of Lubuto West Township on grounds that she spends more time browsing Facebook at the expense of performing her house duties. The case came before Kabushi Local Court Senior Magistrate Agness Mulenga, who granted the couple divorce.   Sakula explained that he married Silavya in 2010 after he paid K55 as dowry. They have two children together. Sakula said his wife does not respect him and that she fails to cook because she spends more time on Facebook. “She loves Facebook too much and fails to manage the house.  Even when she is cooking, she concentrates on Facebook,” Sakula said.
