A few residents in North western territory have given up 45 guns in 5 chiefdoms in mwinilunga area.

North western region police magistrate Joel Njase has affirmed this in an assertion gave to Diamond news.

He says 32 gag loaders were seized from boss chibwika, boss kakoma, senior boss kanongesha and boss kanyama chiefdoms.

Mr Njase says that the provicial police order has done as such to keep individuals from shooting each other on doubt of black magic.

He adds that different motivations to why the guns have been seized are to forestall self destruction, poaching and other criminal operations.
